Enigma Battleship Drinking Game -
gadgettastic
This has to be the coolest version of Battleships we have seen, the Enigma Battleship Drinking Game.
The Enigma Battleship Drinking Game was designed Mauricio Harion from Brazil, the idea is that your ships are made up of different shot glasses, each time you are hit you have to drink a shot.
Although just a design at the moment, I can see some manufacturer picking this up as this would be great for parties.

How many dentists does it take to change a light bulb? -
Dental Holidays
Three. One to administer the anaesthetic. One to extract the light bulb. One to offer the socket some bad tasting pink mouthwash. Why the mouthwash ? Did not you suffer enough already?Be happy that you live in the 21st century! The Romans used human urine for mouthwash. The ammonia in the urine made it work. It also tasted horrible, so after some time, honey was added to the drink and during the early 19th century, eucalyptus leaves. Still later, alcohol (mmmm) was used.Don't worry... Ammonia still is an active ingredient in some mouthwashes, but it comes from the laboratory and not from human... |

Gardening - Potting On Lupin & Courgette Plants -
Farming Friends
Yesterday I did a spot of gardening whilst we have this spell of glorious weather. I had sown lupin and courgette seeds ages ago and hadn’t potted them on so I finally go around to it.
I now have 8 courgette plants in pots and when they get a little more established I will put them in a larger pot.
Courgette plants
I potted on about 40 lupin seedlings so I hope to have some lovely lupin plants to add to our garden and then some plants to sell at the farm gate once the lupin plants are well established.
Lupin Seedlings
When I first moved to the farm I bought a lupin plant, which I have to say wasn’t cheap but at the time we didn’t have any guinea fowl or ducks that like to eat insects and snails and unfortunately my lupin plant was eaten by snails and slugs. Now that I... |

The Aston Martin Cygnet -
Anorak News
IN the Anorak Forums, Yampster looks at the Aston Martin Cygnet, and weeps:
We’ve put up with a lot in this country since the war. We’ve seen the loss of the Empire, we’ve seen Sterling drop from it’s position as one of the world’s safest, most trusted currencies. We have seen our once proud Navy reduced to a couple of armed trawlers in the Straits of Hormuz.
We’ve seen the army that saw off Napoleon, Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo sent home from Iraq with its tail between its legs. We’ve seen tinpot dictators like Armanidinnerjacket thumb his nose at us but we have always had certain standards that we could fall back on.
But this…….this is the last straw.
Ian Fleming will be a sub-terranean blur by now.

Mini Aston Martin - James Bond to get Cygnet City Car? -
GadgetyNews.com
My dream of owning an Aston Martin may, at least, become attainable – not because I’m on the verge of signing a huge recording contract (wish!!) – Rather, Aston Martin is planning to go from one extreme to another - with the introduction of a tiny city car.
The renowned luxury car maker has joined forces with Japanese giant Toyota to produce the world’s smallest four-seater luxury car.
The luxury car marque has announced it is to launch a £20k motor for the “urban traveller”, a far cry from the £100k or so usually required to get the keys for an Aston.
To be known as the Aston Martin Cygnet, the mini martin should be on sale before the end of next year. Based on the Toyota iQ, it is likely to continue to use the current petrol engines of 1.0 and 1.33... |
