Scientists have found a single hormone which they believe is responsible for turning cherubic children into foul-tempered teens.It is thought all the door-slamming, loud-music-loving and intelligible mutterings can all be traced back to the little hormone Neurokinin B.While it has been known for some time that Neurokinin B was present in teens the boffins had never before appreciated how crucial its role is in sparking puberty.The researchers from the University of Cambridge believe their finding could lead to new treatments for sex hormone dependent diseases like prostate cancer and new approaches to contraception.Unfortunately for parents everywhere the research will not lead to the development of a drug to prevent your teen from becoming like Harry Enfield's Kevin the teenager....

Comedian accused of racism and making light of sexual exploitation in Harry & Paul show...

The Phillipine Foundation has complained that the BBC comedy show Harry and Paul's sketch about a Filipina maid was "completely disgraceful, distasteful and a great example of gutter humour." It hs called for the "re-education of the BBC", and has created a petition, which I shall link for posterity. The Phillipine Embassy has also complained to the BBC, as well as the Press Complaints Commission.I watch Harry and Paul weekly, and have seen the sketch in question.There is no racism intended. The sketch attacks the attitudes of the conservative middle classes.
