The iPhone has changed quite a bit since the original iPhone 2G was launched back in 2007, both in terms of hardware and software, the iPhone 4 is much faster than the previous version of the iPhone. Chris Pinnock and Mike Hellers decided to make a video to see exactly what the difference in speed was between all models of the iPhone, it is quite interesting to watch to see how the iPhone has developed over the years. As you can see in the video, the iPhone 4 launches Plants vs Zombies in 8.5 seconds, whilst the original iPhone 2G took a total of 26 seconds to launch the game. Apple released some good news for white iPhone lovers last week – the white iPhone 4 will be shipping out at the end of July. The app is part of the MobileMe service and will be familiar to those who already use the service through their computer.This app differs though as you can use this app to track your iPhone... ie, you need to have two devices to use this. Apple [AAPL] is due to announce the next generation iPhone later today at their WWDC, and the new iPhone 4G is expected to be the biggest upgrade to the iPhone since the launch of the iPhone 3G. When Apple announced the iPhone 3GS last year, it was only a minor upgrade to the iPhone 3G, it did have a faster processor and the ability to record video, plus a built in compass but that was about it. If you go online to the Apple stores in the US this morning, you will see that the iPhone 3G is still listed, but you can’t actually buy it, as Apple has removed that option from the US store, does this mean that Apple has discontinued the iPhone 3G? Walmart has announced that it will start selling the 16GB version of the iPhone 3GS for $97 with a two year contract with AT&T. Apple is due to announce the next generation iPhone on June 7th 2010 at their World Wide Developers Conference. There are quite a few iPhone owners who would like the ability to use a Bluetooth keyboard with their iPhone, now you can if you own a jailbroken iPhone. One clever hacker has created a driver that can be installed on your jailbroken iPhone, once it is installed all you need to do is pair your iPhone with your Bluetooth keyboard. Vodafone has announced details of its pricing for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G on its UK mobile phone network, both models of the iPhone are available to pre-order as of today from Vodafone.
